In late March of this year, Hettinger attended the Americold Logistics Facility Service Manager National Meeting, held at the Lucky Strike Casino in Tunica, MS.
This event brings together facility managers from across the country as well as Americold’s corporate headquarters for a week-long series of meetings, training, and information sharing. One feature of this assembly is the Vendor Trade Show, where top Americold vendors have an opportunity to present their products and services.

This was the second year Hettinger attended, this year participating as a Gold Sponsor. It was a great opportunity to present new and innovative products. This year the focus was on LED warehouse lighting and battery watering systems. Of course, Hettinger’s quality material handling parts were also well-represented.

Hettinger brought a little fun as well, with a raffle for a theater-style popcorn machine, complete with popcorn, a scoop and serving containers. The Carthage, MO facility was the lucky winner at the Lucky Strike!

The event was considered a rousing success by all involved – gambling losses aside – and preparations are already underway for Hettinger’s return in 2011!
